Mufti Day

So today was Mufti Day..the only day the students in my school get to wear casual clothes..and some wore pretty weird clothes..example, a guy wore singlet with necktie and short pants with coat. Oh and Darren kept asking Lau where he bought his clothes.. Though it was Mufti Day, some of the form 1 dudes wore school uniform..tsktsktsk.

Corn

Fantastic 4:Rise of the Silver Surfer

So i went to watch Fantastic 4 yesterday. Overall the movie was good.







Well, it starts with Reed Richards and Sue Storm preparing for their wedding. A silver object enters the earth's atmosphere radiating cosmic energy that creates massive molecular fluctuations and causes deep craters at locations across the Earth. The military ask Reed to built a tracking device to track down the object.











Soon things happen and the Human Torch then pursues the object, discovering that it is a humanoid, a "Silver Surfer". He confronts the Surfer, only to be dragged into the upper atmosphere.



Reed examines him and finds out that the Human Torch is able to switch powers with his teamates through physical contact. He also discovers that wherever this humanoid goes, the planet dies.


So the Fantastic 4 have to stop the 'Silver Surfer' and stuff happened. You'll have to watch it yourselves.

For me personally..i thought the movie was to short..(1hour45minutes)i dunno bout you but i was quite short..the movie wasn't that deep too and if you haven't watched the first one i advise you to watch the first one first cause you might not understand this.

A Quiet Moment

Yesterday, one of my church members passed away last night. He suffered from a heart attack. I was like" You sure?" cause the other week i just saw him. But anyway, this proves that life is short and you must live it to the fullest...

Surgery

As usual I went to the vet today and was expecting boredom again..at around 10 the vet brought in a female terrier to the sugery room. The terrier was actually going to be neutered. The vet said it was ok for my friend and I to watch him operate on the dog. So we did..

The operation was fast..about 15 minutes. He injected the dog with some sleeping liquid thing and soon the dog was asleep. He then shaved the fur off the abdomen and started slicing it open.

One thing that freaked me out was not the blood and guts but was the vet. He somehow didn't use gloves. Yes, no gloves. So he practically was putting his finger inside the lower part of the abdomen and pulling out the ovary. After pulling both ovaries out, he tied them up and snipped the ovaries off.

After that, a cat needed one of it's tooth pulled out(i dunno why). The vet gave it a shot and it began vomitting and all. He came in with cotton wool and all the other stuff and start pulling the tooth out. He then declawed the cat and cleaned it's ears-.-"

Overall in went well, and to think all of it took less than an hour.

Uhh..

I had nothing better to do so i decided drop by..just watched HSM 2-"what time is it?" music video..the song's nice, it has a nice beat to it(duh) the video wasn't really the real video. Hey at least it had a little bit of HSM 2 in it..was quite blurrish though..

First Post

So this is my first post..hmm..what to write..anyway the holidays are almost over(4 days to go) and i've been sleeping, eating,watching tv, and um..sleep..

Well anyway went to the vet yesterday and today with my friend to see what a vet does(cause i wanna be a vet)..will be going there till friday. My mum says have to get "experienced" and to see if i like it. If i don't then it won't be too late to change.

And what did i do and see there?..well we cleaned cat's cages, gave dogs some bath, cleaned more cages, groomed a burmese cat and see how and what the vet when a pet is sick. What medicine he gives and all. If you want to be a vet, i must warn that you must be sure that you can handle blood and the smelof the animals..especially dogs..

I saw some chihuahuas and i felt like pulling theis eyes out..they were bulging out and staring at you-.- ..saw a cocker spaniel,some german shepherds, rodwiellers and more. After doing all those stuff, my friend and i soon became bored. We had pratically nothing to do(just watch cars passing by). Besides that, they were no customers..besides some people coming to buy dog food..other than that i the place was deserted.

Ahh..and i have to go again tomorrow-.- i dread doing nothing for another 2 hours..maybe there would be more stuff to do tomorrow..you never know..
