Taming The Tiger

Taming the Tiger. The remarkable true story of a Kung Fu World Champion.

Raised in China, Tony was trained in the way of Kung Fu, becoming a 3 time World Champion, a Master of the art, and a highly proficient combat fighter. In his early twenties, Tony worked as an elite bodyguard, traveling the world protecting some of the world's richest, most powerful people. When tragedy struck in his personal life he fell into sinister circles and was ultimately incarcerated in a Cypriot prison. A then violent and bloodthirsty man, talking to a stranger who begins to visit him, Tony finds his anger begins to disappear as his priorities shift and his life takes a massive turn. Where previously the other inmates had respected him for his fighting abilities, now they are drawn to him in a different way.

LiFEgame

Just came back from LiFEgame and it rocks. So what did I become?

I became a security guard, lost my job, then became a clerk, got fired, married 3 times, killed my first wife cause of rancour, had 12 children, killed my second and third child for insurance claims, failed my diploma, robbed the bank 3 times and got caught twice, robbed 11 other people, made several fracas at the casino and died at the age of 64.

Yes.

Kidding. *Darren's laugh*

I became a receptionist at a hospital then a care giver and afterthat the manager. I got my bachelors but failed to get a masters or a doctorate but I'm grateful for my job. Some of the participants had doctorate degrees but they couldn't find a job.

Anyway, LiFEgame was fun but challenging. I feel RECHARGED. We played Ultimate and a lot of fun stuff. I've learnt that life's tough and you need to work hard to pull through. To plan ahead, to set aside priorities. After awhile, it becomes a routine but in the midst of that, you must not forget God. Life's important but God is more important. HE gave us life.

I encourage everyone to join this camp. If you get the chance, join it. It was 100% worth my time. I made new friends and I guarantee you'll learn a lot from it.

Sports Day

Sports Day just finished today.

Lau, Hafreez and I were on first-aid duty on the first day. I must say it was adrenaline filled and very very tiring. We weren't really expecting much action that morning as it was only the opening ceremony which only involved marching. But then, students started to faint and we had to rush to them, put them on the stretcher and back to the main station where the students got treatment and stuff. Luckily it rained at around 8+, so no one fainted. Not at the station where I was on duty. No one fainting means nothing to do. Nothing to do leads to boredom but when you have Tim and his outre attitudes, you get a weird but amusing time.

Besides that, got to play Left 4 Dead. Kiri Empat Mati.

It's a co-op game where you kill zombies and sometimes freak yourself out until it makes you scream like Kenny. It's exceptionally fun when you play it with your friends. It teaches you teamwork. You're guaranteed dead if you try to go on a one man show. Like Rambo. Rocky Balboa. Ip man is cooler.

Anyway, the game-play is sweet. You get to choose between 4 characters. A lady, a biker, an old man and an african-american dude.

Zoey( lady ), Francis( biker dude), Bill( old dude) and Louis( african-american)

The game is basically shooting zombies and trying to stay alive as you try to reach a safe house. Almost everywhere in the game is dark. Some pitch black without any lights so you sometimes get a surprise when you turn a corner and it's not even Wilson.

Zombies are practically everywhere and when you create a scene, they all come running to you from all sides. If you have a shotgun, you get to blow their heads off. The feeling of satisfaction.

So yeah, this game is hot. So is Serious Sam. Parrot bombs.

Quarks and Gluons

Salutations people.

Another school week ends. I like Fridays. I learnt one important thing this week. Never prank call Hafreez in any way. Seriously. Don't. He gets scared and all.

Don't really have much to blog about. School Annual Sports Day is next Wednesday and Thursday. I'll be on first-aid duty. So will Lau, Nick and Wilson. So yeah.

1:18 is sick yet cool at the same time.

Completing the Square

I am back after a 2 week absence. CNY is over and we're back in school. Today's Kenaidy birthday . Happy Birthday again Kenaidy! Ada orang sudah enam belas ba.

Tomorrow I have school and it so happens that Valentine's Day is tomorrow. I'll have to wake up early again to go to school on a Saturday. I have a suspicion that the school purposely make it a school day tomorrow so that the clubs can give out the Valentine's Day gifts. Right??

Valentine's Day, the day some dudes who are besotted with other girls show their affection by spending big bucks on expensive stuff just to flatter the girl. That's basically how Valentine's Day is in this era. I give you gift. You love me. I give you Kenny. You stay with me. I give you Nelson. You runaway. Period.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY in advance

Before I end this post, I have an announcement.

CHARM(Cheerleading Association and Register of Malaysia)is having try outs and cheerleaders around the Miri district aged 15-19 are needed.

Please Contact Carolyn : 016 808 5282 for more info.
