Plot synopsis

The story takes place in Pennsylvania and tells the story of a 16 year old girl named Miranda, whose life is interrupted when a meteor hits the moon. As a result, worldwide disasters such as tsunamis, earthquakes, and volcanoes occur. Every day is a struggle as, supermarkets run out of food, and gas runs up to about ten dollars a gallon. Her family must get by as a seemingly apocalyptic winter comes about. Throughout the novel her relationship with her friends and relationship with her family is tested.

The whole book is practically the diary of Miranda.

This book is nice to read and is quite thrilling and I encourage you to read it if you get a chance to.
