A Post Dedicated to the Jonas Brothers

See the post title? I lied.

*Darren's laugh when his feet touches the sea water*

**********************

OK. Now that's over. Let's get on. As cliche as it always is, sorry for not posting anything lately. I had trail exams. Actually I was just lazy to post anything. Raya is just round the corner and we have a week of holiday. After the holidays, our school will be having PRA PMR for the form 3 and after that PMR! Can't wait for it to end.

So anyway, nothing much happened the past 3 weeks. The ISCF committee had a barbecue at Taman Selera yesterday.

Taman Selera. Do not be deceived by the cleanliness of the beach in the picture.

Somehow barbecue reminds me of Robert Rainford from License to Grill."This is gonna taste great".

It was fun despite the rain which came and went a few times. Lau, Nichard and I followed Darren to find a tap to wash our hands but we ended up going to the playground where we saw our school's Leo members. After reaching the end, we decided to turn back and for some weird reason, the wind started to pick up speed. Next thing we knew, we were running as fast as we could(Lau was laughing like a little girl) back to the shed . There was an ominous black cloud coming towards the shore. It soon started to rain heavily but that didn't deter us from having our barbecue.
At the end of the barbecue, we packed up and just lazed around while waiting for our parents to pick us up.

I'm lazy to go on. So, before I end, I would like to wish those sitting for PMR this year that God may be with you.

Before I forget, Selamat Advanced Hari Raya Aidilfitri to all the Muslims.

An Attempt at writing a Love Story

For some reason, my friends started writing love stories. It started with Amanda, then Darren and Lau, Nelson followed and all of us started.
So, this is my Love Story.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Her"

"Oopss..Sorry!"
"Oh, it's ok. Here, let me pick that up for you."
"Thanks."

She walked away.
I felt something weird swirling in my heart. Something I could not describe.Fear?No.Awkwardness?No.Cheese Crackers?Definitely not.

Who was that girl? That girl with the beautiful ebony hair and fair complexion.
Who was she?
Who was Mahatma Gandhi?
Did I leave my computer on?

Questions about that girl and random stuff filled my mind. Mostly were about that girl. Weird.
I continued on my way to Science lab. As I entered the lab, I saw someone at the corner of my left eye. I turned and it was Wilson sticking his tongue out in a seductive way. Disgusting.Lau was sitting opposite him. He was besotted as usual. I continued on to my seat. As I was sitting, I could not stop thinking about that girl. That girl I bumped into. Just then, I saw someone at the door. It was someone fair. Could it be her? My heart filled with joy! It was....wait. It was Wilson again. He just came back from his constant toilet excursions. Ish.

As class finished, I was the first out the lab. Maybe I will see her this time. To my amazement, I was right! I did see her. There she was, at the stairs. I had to talk to her. I needed to. I quickly ran up to her, tapped her on the shoulders.

"Hey..umm"
"Yeah?"

Before I could say anything, her girlfriends appeared out of nowhere and took her away. Where did they go? I don't know. Maybe to class. Maybe to the toilet. The world is full of mysteries. Nelson is one of them. I sat through the next class pondering about her. As cliche as it sounds, I couldn't get her off my mind.

RRRIIIINNNGGGG!!!!!

Recess. As students rushed down the stairs to the canteen to get food, I walked slowly. While waiting for my turn to buy myself what's left of the food sold, I saw her again. This time is my chance. I had to ask her her name.I walked up to her.

"Hey..remember me?"
"Yeah, you're that guy right?"
"Ya. That guy....which guy?"
"That guy."
"Guy?"
"Yes."
"Girl?"
"No...guy."
"Guy as in Lee Hom?"
"He's a guy? Guy like Brad Pitt"
"He's weird"
"Shut up."
"Cheese crackers?"
"No..salty ones."
"Ok."

Next thing I knew, the bell rang. Students rushed back to class. I lost her in the crowd. Darn it.

"Judy"
"What?"
"Judy"
"Who said that?"
"Her name's Judy, damn it!"

It was my friend, Fred. Thanks Fred. Judy.Nice. Class went on as normal. Soon, school ended. As I was waiting for my car at the school gate as usual, I looked out for her. Where is she? Then, I saw her. She was walking alone towards the gate. My heart was filled with joy beyond description. My heart was beating faster. I could feel my pulse at the end of my fingers. As she walked closer, I summoned the courage to talk to her again. I walked towards her. Seconds went by, all I could see was her. It was as if time stopped in its tracks. I reached out my hand to tap her. This was it! Finally! My chance! Few more millimeters before contact...closer...closer...closer.....................CONTACT. She turned around. Our eyes met. My mouth opened to release the words I have always wanted to say...

"Hey, Judy."
"Hey... you again"
"I wanted to ask you this the whole time"
"Yeah?"

Finally.......

"Did you take my science textbook?"
"I did? Let me check......oopss. Sorry. Must have mixed it up when we bumped into each other. Sorry."
"It's ok. Thanks"

Soon after that, everything went back to normal. Apala. That girl. Go take my science textbook for what??? Buat aku kena hukum cikgu je. Padahal bukan salah aku. Ish.

THE END

Well, that's the end of my story. My friends who are girls were somehow disappointed with it. They didn't like it.
I wonder why?Hmm?

Purple

Well, just finished the exams and came back from church camp. Church camp was fun. More fun than last year. The speaker was good too. Stayed in the same room with dad. Had to listen to my dad's snore the whole night. It gets annoying, but throw a pillow at him and he wouldn't snore..for a few minutes, and the torture comes back again. Oh well.

The speaker talked about being witnesses. And it's true what he said. That we should be witnesses to others. The way he preached was funny and straight to the point.

The games that we had were fun. Andy was in charge of the games. I think there were 8 groups? No? Can't remember. Our group's name was the Wild Saints.
Vicious but Holy. It contradicts, but who cares. Each group needed their own war dance and war cry. Ours was based on the Maori's war dance. A little weird, but a heck load of fun.

Lazy to go on..

I missed it again. Ah.

Grannibadodoes.

So I finally watched Batman: The Dark Knight.

Storyline was ok. Not great. But ok. Lots of talking. Quote from Nicholas "Suai ge" Lau -Why so much talking?

Well, the main villain is the Joker(Heath Ledger).

The late Heath Ledger as the insane but smart Joker. His acting was Awesome. Great actor.

Story plot, umm, didn't really get it at first. But after that, I was able to understand. Batman sounded pissy in the whole movie. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a big fan of Batman.

As usual, Batman's gadgets were cool. His car and motorbike. Awesome. Awesome like Nelson's present for Darren. Still can't believe Nelson bought it.Hot.

Cool bike. It looks a little skinny but it's still cool.

The Joker with Batman.

Sweet.

In the movie, Harvey Dent became Two-Face. I wasn't expecting that. WOW.WE ALL CARE!*sarcasm*

Harvey "Two-face" Dent(Aaron Eckhart). He needs therapy.

Overall, I give Batman: The Dark Knight a 3/5. Too much talking and if you're the kind whose thinking isn't that deep, you won't understand it, or might go to sleep. That's only my opinion. Others have their own.

So yeah. I guess that's about it. I won't be posting anything for a while. Exams are coming and stuff.

BB sensation

So yesterday we had drama for sivik. The theme was "Keamanan Negara", if I'm not mistaken.

So anyway, there were 3 groups. Darren's group did a drama based on Communism. I didn't know what Dayang's group did cause the boys were talking behind and were playing with bb guns.

Dayang's group

Darren's group

My group.(using bb guns to threaten siaw mee nelson.)

My group did a drama about Russia invading Malaysia. Why? I dunno.

Story plot:
Russia-invades Malaysia-the citizens live in fear-freedom fighters fight back-Russian dictator dies(Esther as the dictator was killed by Wilson)
The weird part was the way Wilson killed Esther. He did it with a bit of gay screaming. Not a nice sound.

The best part was when Lau and I got to torture Nelson.

Gun.

Nelson's bb gun.

Overall my group's drama went well. All the drama's went well.

My group's seni work. We had to make a new product. So we came up with Desire Chocolate. It was mostly done by guys. I know for guys, it looks faggish(like what ransley said), but do we care?

End of the Spear

Friday again.

Today during ISCF, we watched a movie "End of the Spear." It's a 2006 movie that recounts the story of Operation Auca, in which five American Christian missionaries attempted to evangelize the Huaorani (Waodani) people of the jungle of Ecuador and how the families of the killed missionaries dealt with it.It's a touching story. Most of them in ISCF cried when it came to the scene where the missionaries were speared by the Waodani tribesmen except Darren. He was sleeping during some parts of the movie.Apalar. I, myself felt sad when it came to that scene but they were doing the work of God and they knew the risk.I didn't watch finish the movie cause I had to go back half way.

Steve Saint, the son/narrator, running after his dad before the plane took off.

The movie tells the story from the perspective of Mincayani, one of the tribesmen who killed the missionaries, and Steve Saint, the son of one of the murdered missionaries. The families of the killed missionaries stayed with them and eventually they were converted to Christians.

The scene where the missionaries get speared.

This is a movie about courage, zeal to spread the Gospel, and love in the most unexpected circumstances that changed the world.

Mincayani

Steve Saint with his wife now.

Mincayani now. He is now a preacher and an elder in the Huao church, and has become one of the most outspoken of the Huao Christians.

This is a good movie and I encourage you if you get the chance to watch it.

Billy

The first time Lau sent me the song and I read the title, I wondered "Is this a Christian song?". When I listened to it, I thought it was. When I watched the music, I had second thoughts.

What am I talking about?

I'm talking about Lordi

Hard Rock Hallelujah

Yes, I know they look creepy.

Lau sent me "Hard Rock Hallelujah". The lyrics contains Christian stuff. I then decided to wiki them up. And this picture came up.

Are they Satanic? Non- satanic? Or just plain sour prune juice?

Since none of the music videos of this song on YouTube allowed embedding, I'll just give you the link so you can watch the music video yourselves. Click Hard Rock Hallelujah.

Hard rock hallelujah

Hard rock hallelujah
Hard rock hallelujah

The saints are crippled on this sinners' night
Lost are the lambs with no guiding light
The walls come down like thunder, the rocks about to roll
It's the Arockalypse, now bare your soul

All we need is lightning with power and might
Striking down the prophets of false
As the moon is rising, give us the sign
Now let us rise up in awe

Rock 'n' roll angels, bring that hard rock hallelujah
Demons and angels all in one have arrived
Rock 'n' roll angels, bring that hard rock hallelujah
In God's creation, supernatural high

The true believers, thou shall be saved
Brothers and sisters, keep strong in the faith
On the Day of Rockoning, it's who dares, wins
You will see the jokers soon'll be the new kings

All we need is lightning with power and might
Striking down the prophets of false
As the moon is rising, give us the sign
Now let us rise up in awe

Rock 'n' roll angels, bring that hard rock hallelujah
Demons and angels all in one have arrived
Rock 'n' roll angels, bring that hard rock hallelujah
In God's creation, supernatural high

Wings on my back, I got horns on my head
My fangs are sharp and my eyes are red
Not quite an angel or the one that fell
Now choose to join us or go straight to hell

Hard rock hallelujah
Hard rock hallelujah
Hard rock hallelujah
Hard rock, yeah

Rock 'n' roll angels, bring that hard rock hallelujah
Demons and angels all in one have arrived
Rock 'n' roll angels, bring that hard rock hallelujah
In God's creation, supernatural high

Hard rock, hallelujah

Those are the lyrics to the song. The words used are decent. You can go to this link to read the hidden meaning of the words.Click Meaning. The site says it's not a satanic band and that Mr. Lordi himself came from a religious family in Finland. There are other infos there about the song.

But in the video, he kills the cheerleaders and raises them from the dead. But then, they have a song entitled "devil is a loser"

So how do I feel about them?
I dunno. I'm in between. Like nelson, eating his star fruit.

Boots with the fur~~~

or

Grandma's prune juice? Anyone?
